Komatsu make it a double

New twin auxiliary hydraulic circuits now available on Komatsu mini-excavators

KOMATSU are offering customers two auxiliary circuits as a factory fit option on their MR-3 mini-excavators. The circuits – available on the PC30MR-3, 35, 45 and 55 models – are controlled by a double-slider on the machine’s proportional pressure controlled (PPC) joysticks.

According to Komatsu, higher performance and improved oil flow, together with better pipe routing and smoother fingertip controls, are just some of the benefits brought on by this new twin circuit option.

One of the additional hydraulic circuits can be used to operate attachments such as tilt buckets or hydraulic breakers, while the second, lower pressure circuit is designed for applications including a rotating function on a roto-tilting attachment, a clamshell bucket or for demolition tools.

The two circuits can be used independently, with a maximum pressure of 70 litres/min on the first line and 25 litres/min on the second, to best match the attachment specification.

Komatsu said availability of the auxiliary circuits may vary from market to market and advise customers to contact their local Komatsu representative.
