King trailer for J. Stevenson

James Stevenson Quarries Ltd have recently taken delivery of their second four-axle King GTS73 low-loader trailer.

In addition to a quarry in Ballymena, Stevenson contract out specialist road-surfacing equipment. The new trailer will be used to carry the company's range of planing machines, particularly a Wirtgen 2000 which is used on contracts throughout the north and south of Ireland.

The trailer has been specially designed to Stevenson's specification, including steel reinforcements under the bodywork and a body design that will not damage the tracks on the Wirtgen planers. The 60-tonne load capacity of the GTS73 allows a wide variety of different types of plant to be carried.
