Demolition specialist receives training accolade at 2019 Construction News awards event

KELTBRAY, specialists in demolition, decommissioning and remediation services, have been awarded the top gong for training – the Training Excellence accolade – at this year’s Construction News awards ceremony.

Held at Grosvenor House Hotel, in London, on 11 July, Keltbray beat eight other companies in demonstrating a positive and progressive approach to training and developing staff during 2018.

The judging panel was impressed with Keltbray’s training initiatives, as well as the innovation shown in developing new training methods and the time allocated to training. They also praised the company’s strong leadership and the commitment shown in embedding a culture of training across the Keltbray Group.

Commenting on the recent award success, Holly Price, training and development director for Keltbray, said: ‘I’m so proud of the Keltbray training team who work tirelessly to raise standards not just at Keltbray, but in the wider industry too.’

The company was also shortlisted in the health and safety excellence; best innovation; and outstanding contribution to construction categories at the 2019 Construction News awards.
