Keltbray appoint new group financial director

Peter Burnside

Company announces appointment of Peter Burnside who succeeds John Keehan

KELTBRAY, UK specialists in engineering, construction, demolition, decommissioning and remediation services, have strengthened their senior management team with the appointment of Peter Burnside as group financial director.

Mr Burnside joins Keltbray from global accountancy and business advisory firm BDO, where he was managing partner for BDO Northern Ireland. Based at Keltbray’s head office in Esher, Surrey, he takes over the role previously held by John Keehan, who has been financial director since 2005. This will leave Mr Keehan free to focus solely on his role as deputy chief executive officer.

In his new position, Mr Burnside will be responsible for financial reporting across the group and put in charge of insurance, facilities and IT, as well as the management of Keltbray’s property portfolio.

‘I have been involved in many complex restructurings and acquisitions, and look forward to help bolster Keltbray’s expertise in this area, as we look into new development opportunities and grow as a group,’ said Mr Burnside.

Mr Keehan added: ‘We are delighted to welcome Peter [Burnside] to Keltbray. He comes to us with a wealth of corporate finance experience and we look forward to tapping into this as we continue to grow and diversify.’
