Recycling firm invests in new JCB excavator model for efficient handling of waste material

A LEADING Midlands waste-recycling specialist has taken delivery of a brand-new JCB 140X tracked excavator for sorting and loading waste at its materials recycling facility. MRW Waste Recycling Ltd invested in the machine for pre-sorting waste and loading the picking line at their Stratford-upon-Avon site, where the business recycles construction and demolition waste.

Supplied by dealers Midlands JCB, the JCB 140X’s mobility, ease of use, power, and operator comfort make it highly productive for this type of work – helping MRW to process up to 70 containers per day.

Tim Croxford, MWR’s managing director designate, said: ‘We have been running a JCB loading shovel and Loadall telescopic handler for several years and have always found them to be reliable. So, when we were looking for another cost-effective, robust machine, naturally we turned to JCB. The JCB 140X received some very positive reviews so we took the plunge, and we’re glad we did.

‘Our operator is delighted with the ease of use and the comfort factor, while the reach of the machine is just right. The result is a highly productive machine that has further improved our operations.’
