Battery-powered Makinex hand truck makes light work of lifting small and bulky equipment
MORRIS Site Machinery have brought a range of innovative products together as Morris Select to complement their current power portfolio. In addition to established brands such as Alcon pumps, Softlite portable lighting and Hilta pumps and pressure washers, Morris Select features the exclusive Makinex range of products developed in Australia.
One product that is already proving a big hit for Morris Select is the battery-powered Makinex hand truck, which allows one person to safely lift and load small equipment or bulky goods weighing up to 140kg (309 lbs). One charge of the powered hand truck’s simple Makita battery pack is sufficient for up to 50 lifts.
Suitable for use in workshops and warehouses, it offers a quick and easy alternative to using a forklift or tailgate loader for small loads. It is lightweight and easy to operate and manoeuvre, with the lifting arm controlled by lifting or lowering the handles using a simple thumb switch. After use, the hand truck can be folded flat for easy transport and storage.
Morris Site Machinery’s managing director, Phil Winnington, said: ‘As a leading manufacturer and supplier we are committed to providing innovative and efficient, quality products that customers need for their businesses. Morris Select helps customers make that choice and also allows us to bring new products to market which complement our existing power portfolio.’
