Increased sales of Al-Jon compactors

"Since exhibiting at the Waste Management show in Torbay, Al-Jon sales in the UK have increased and 40 machines are now operating in the UK."

"One recent purchaser was the recycling and disposal division of Premier Waste who have just taken delivery of their third 45-tonne Al-Jon Impact 91K this year. Phil Towers, operations director for the company, commented: ‘We consistently achieve a compaction density of 1.27 tonnes/m3, which is at least 25% better than our previous machines. That adds up to hugely better land utilization in the long term — a key factor in landfill management today.’"

"Doncaster-based Waste Recycling Group, who already have six Al-Jons in their fleet, are hiring six more units to meet an increase in demand with new sites coming into operation."
