EPC-UK awarded Accredited Centre Certification by the Institute of Explosive Engineers

COMMERCIAL explosives and blasting services specialists EPC-UK have been awarded Accredited Centre Certification by the Institute of Explosive Engineers (IExpE).

The accreditation adds to EPC-UK’s reputation as a competent and trusted training partner for the explosives and blasting sector and rewards the firm with a Badge of Excellence, together with the permission to teach formal qualifications that meet Ofqual requirements.

As part of the certification, EPC-UK will receive an ‘IExpE Accredited’ certificate, together with authorization to use the ‘IExpE Accredited’ logo when marketing their courses.

‘We’re delighted to have been awarded this latest commendation and see the accolade as further acknowledgement of EPC-UK’s capabilities in providing excellent levels of specialist training, from courses in blast design and environmental control to on-site safety,’ said Julie Wootton, head of human resources and IT at EPC-UK.

‘We hope it gives further confidence to delegates training at our facilities, demonstrating that they are in excellent hands.

‘Our courses have always been designed in a bespoke manner and are continuously adapted to meet the needs of particular industries and personnel, within a sector where extensive practical, on-site or augmented-reality experience prove essential to developing safe learning practice.

‘The success of our courses and their above-average pass rates are a credit to the teaching team delivering them, with this latest IExpE certification confirming and emphasizing our industry capabilities.’
