Hyva strengthen and reshape sales team

Hyva sales team

Three new appointments and updated territories as company achieves higher sales across UK

HAVING achieved higher than ever UK sales across all their product sectors, Hyva have updated their area sales territories and strengthened their sales team with three new appointments.

Of particular significance, Hyva UK are now formally entering the market for truck-mounted cranes, and joining the company to lead this activity is cranes sales manager Matt Nesbitt (top row centre). The first of the new range of Hyva cranes will be exhibited on the company’s main stand at next month’s TIP-Ex show at the Harrogate International Centre, from 2–4 June.

Duncan Nurse joins Hyva as regional sales manager for the South East, a territory that runs from Peterborough down to Brighton and all points east including East Anglia, Essex, parts of London, Surrey and Kent. Based in Cambridge, Mr Nurse (bottom row left) is well regarded in the truck industry having had previous roles with Vishay (PM On-Board), Scania and Volvo.

Looking after south-west England is Steve Bowdidge (bottom row second right), who is already well known to Hyva operators. His territory runs from Milton Keynes through to Gloucester, then all points south to Portsmouth and west to Cornwall. He will also continue to work in London.

The third new member of the team is Brett Hickey (bottom row right), who takes over the extensive Midlands territory from recently retired Terry Hadley. This area runs from Lincolnshire and Nottingham, through Birmingham and down to South Wales. A truck industry professional with a 15-year track record that includes working for both a main DAF dealership and retailing used vehicles, Mr Hickey will also support Matt Nesbitt on crane product sales.

Moving north, Hyva stalwart Chris Shaw (bottom row second left) covers the territory from North Wales up to North Yorkshire, including the whole industrial corridor running from Liverpool to Manchester and along the M62 to Hull, whilst Gordon Jackson (top row left) retains responsibility for the biggest Hyva geographical sales territory of all – Scotland and northern England down to Cumbria and Durham.

Mike Taylor  (top row right), himself recently appointed as managing director of Hyva UK, commented: ‘The past few years have seen unprecedented growth in all areas of Hyva sales, so now is the time to capitalize on that success with a sales team that’s stronger than ever. Our new team brings with it significant levels of in-depth truck industry experience, which will be of particular value to Hyva customers old and new.’
