Haver & Boecker unveil latest F-Class vibrating screen

Haver & Boecker portable F-Class screen

New screening machine offers increased productivity for aggregates and mining customers

HAVER & Boecker have launched their new portable F-Class vibrating screen that has been specially designed to provide flexibility and the best possible return on investment for quarry and mine operators.

The vibrating screen has also been developed with increased mobility in mind. It comes with a base frame that easily attaches to a custom-built chassis and is equipped with a hydraulic system that positions the screen at an optimal angle from 15° to 25°. These two features allow users to move and set up the F-Class unit in under 30min at most locations.

‘To help our customers streamline their operations and provide solutions for a broader array of operations, we’ve amplified our F-Class vibrating screen by adding portability,’ said Karen Thompson, president of Haver & Boecker Canada.

‘This not only gives customers the flexibility to easily travel from one site to another, but also our leading edge, four-bearing screening technology virtually eliminates the common issues of pegging, blinding and cross contamination, thereby increasing overall efficiency and profitability.’

The company’s updated F-Class vibrating screen has three decks and features an advanced double-shaft design supported by four high-performance, double-spherical roller bearings. The new screen is also equipped with Haver & Boecker’s patented Ty-Rail quick-tensioning system, which reduces screen media change-out times by around 50%.

‘With the fast pace of the industry and the underlying need to increase screening efficiency and profitability, it was the right time to launch the portable F-Class,’ said Karen Thompson. ‘The demand for portable plants has grown significantly over the years, which is why we wanted to provide a solution for our customers. We’re using our vast experience coupled with the expertise of our partners, such as Hikon Industries, to develop the absolute best mobile screening platform in the market.’

The F-Class is suitable for demanding screening applications (eg scalping and classifying ores, minerals, stone, sand and gravel etc.) that require consistent, load-independent performance at constant g-force in all operational modes. Operators can also customize the portable set-up to include a crusher for enhanced productivity.
