GeoSLAM launch upgrade campaign

GeoSLAM ZEB-HORIZON

Mapping and monitoring specialist offers opportunity to experience strongest-ever SLAM technology

WITH the rapid advancement of SLAM (Simultaneous Location and Mapping) technology, 3D mobile mapping and monitoring specialists GeoSLAM are offering the opportunity to upgrade any SLAM device to a hand-held scanner.

GeoSLAM have launched their upgrade campaign offering £10,000 (€11,200 or $US12,650) off the price of their leading ZEB-REVO-RT or the new ZEB-HORIZON until 28 February 2019, in exchange for any SLAM device – regardless of its manufacturer.

GeoSLAM’s ZEB-HORIZON, which was launched at INTERGEO 2018, incorporates UAV-ready technology alongside the strongest-ever SLAM, capable of collecting 300,000 points per second with a range of up to 100m.

The ZEB-REVO-RT is a lightweight hand-held scanner capable of processing data in real time while the user walks, providing a complete 3D model in minutes.

Commenting on the upgrade campaign, Shelley Copsey, GeoSLAM’s chief executive officer, said: ‘Mapping and monitoring technology is advancing at remarkable speed and at GeoSLAM we recognize that this means that our customers are required to stay at the top of their game by harnessing the latest platforms.’
