Free HSE LEV Roadshows
WOULD you like more information about how to get the best out of your local exhaust ventilation (LEV) and how to protect your workforce?
In March 2009, the Health and Safety Executive ran three successful LEV pilot roadshows in the Midlands. This year, the HSE has decided to go nationwide and will be running a further five events across the country during February and March.
The 2010 roadshows, which will take place in Cambridge on 10 February, Whitburn (West Lothian) on 17 February, Bristol on 23 February, Gateshead on 3 March and Manchester on 11 March, are aimed at raising awareness among duty holders about the need for effective LEV control and promoting good practice.
The roadshows, which are not sector specific but have been developed to be relevant across most industries, are free to attend but places will be limited, so early booking is advisable. For further information and booking details visit: www.hse.gov.uk/lev/events.htm
