Finlay BME to expand product offering

"AS part of a strategic diversification programme, Finlay BME have announced plans to extend their product range and market sector coverage from solely block-making equipment into mobile crushing and screening plant for the quarrying and recycling industries."

"To mark the start of this diversification strategy, Finlay BME will be officially launching their new 12 x 5 tracked three-way-split screening machine during their debut appearance at this month’s SED exhibition in Milton Keynes."

"Offering a number of innovative features, especially around the screening area, the new range of screens will be marketed under the brand name of Fintec and targeted initially at the UK and Irish markets, where many existing block-making customers are already serviced by the company."

"To complement the new screening range, Finlay BME are currently in negotiations with an established European crusher manufacturer and soon hope to conclude a joint-venture arrangement for the manufacture and sale of a range of mobile crushers on a global basis. These will also be marketed under the Fintec brand name."

"Commenting on the diversification, Finlay BME’s new owner/managing director, Hubert Watson, said: ‘It is our intention to come to the market both locally and internationally with a single-source supply and after-sales support arrangement, offering customers both crushing and screening equipment from one source.’"
