Double award

"Alfred McAlpine Slate Ltd, owners and operators of the Penrhyn, Cwt-y-Bugail and Ffestiniog natural slate quarries in North Wales, have achieved a maximum five-star rating in a health and safety management systems audit by the British Safety Council (BSC). The company also received the BSC Sword of Honour, which is awarded to organizations that have implemented safety systems that are among the best in the world."
