The changes, which are effective immediately, have seen the appointment of new regional presidents and a different global organization and leadership structure, including newly created groups responsible for engineering, procurement and strategy.

Gustavo Otero has been appointed as president of Doosan Bobcat Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Mr Otero, who previously served as vice-president of compact and telehandlers at Doosan Bobcat EMEA, will be based at the company’s EMEA headquarters in Dobris, Czech Republic.

In addition, Alvaro Pacini has been named as senior vice-president of global procurement at Doosan Bobcat, having previously served as EMEA region president, and Troy Kraft has been appointed as senior vice-president of global engineering at Doosan Bobcat, having led engineering for Doosan Bobcat North America for nearly 12 years.

Finally, Youngmin Kwon has been named as senior-vice president of global strategy and operational excellence/total quality management. He will join Messrs Pacini and Kraft as a member of the Doosan Bobcat global function leadership team.

All five executives will report directly to Doosan Bobcat chief executive officer, Scott Park, who commented: ‘As a global company, we are taking these steps to become even more collaborative by sharing the best ideas and innovations around the world. I have great confidence in each of these leaders as they take on new and expanded roles and look forward to working with them to ensure our continued growth in the global marketplace.

‘Our new global structure and leadership team will encourage greater collaboration and agility throughout the company’s worldwide regions. Together, we will work more closely as one global team, which will bring enhanced collaboration, innovation and continued success for Doosan Bobcat.’
