Diesel-filter system

Agriemach have unveiled their new Agriepure diesel-purifying system, which allows operators of plant and machinery to clean and purify diesel in situ.

This means it is no longer necessary to remove diesel tanks from machines for the purpose of filtering and purifying the fuel and tank, thereby saving labour, reducing downtime and, more importantly, protecting the environment from diesel spills.

The Agriepure system is claimed to be 100% effective in removing water, dirt, sludge and rust from fuel and, through the use of biocide treatment, bacteria growth is eliminated. Easy to operate, the diesel-purifying unit is designed to be plugged in and clean immediately.

Once up and running, the system can be left operating on its own, although users should regularly check and release any contaminants from the glass bowl at the bottom of the filter housing, which separates the water and contaminants by passing the diesel through a 2-micron water-separating filter.

The Agriepure system is available in three specifications: 25 litres/min; 35 litres/min; and 52 litres/min.
