Cylinders to power crushers and compactors
"Hydraulic cylinder manufacturers Garfield Hydrol are winning new orders from manufacturers of crushing and waste-compacting equipment for their 6,000 lb/in2 (413 bar) high-pressure cyclinders. With a bore of just 180mm, the cylinders are capable of exerting a force of over 100 tonnes and are a popular choice for heavy-duty applications."
"One customer is Glasgow-based Saltaire Engineering who manufacture mobile, static and crawler crushers. They have listed Garfield Hydrol as their preferred suppliers after the success of an initial order for four cylinders which power clearing rams used to remove material blocking cone crushers."
