CRH appoint new chairman
Richie Boucher succeeds Nicky Hartery who has decided to retire from the board with immediate effect
CRH plc, the Dublin-based international building materials group, have confirmed that Richie Boucher has succeeded Nicky Hartery as chairman, with effect from 1 January 2020.
Mr Hartery joined the board of CRH in 2004 and was appointed group chairman in 2012. The changes to the board were previously announced in September 2019.
Commenting on the announcement, CRH chairman Mr Boucher (pictured) said: ‘I would like to thank Nicky for his excellent stewardship of the CRH board during his tenure as chairman and for his commitment to CRH as a non-executive director since 2004, during which time he also held the roles of senior independent director and remuneration committee chairman. I and my board colleagues wish him well in the future.’
