Centa Transmissions showcase products at Hillhead 2012
Flexible couplings and housings amongst products on transmission company’s stand
Centa Transmissions will be showing flexible couplings and housings specially designed for all types of diesel engines. Of additional interest will be the Centa Belt Box, a transfer device used where space is at a premium, by placing the hydraulic pumps adjacent to the engine.
In addition, as UK distributors for major manufacturers like Dinamic Oil and Keller, Centa now supply some of the largest industrial gearboxes available today, all proven in heavy-duty quarrying and materials handling situations, where planetary units are used extensively.
Also at Hillhead will be the innovative CENTAFLEX-H, K and KE flexible couplings, all specially developed to meet the demanding requirements of excavators, vibratory rollers, loaders and other plant. The CF-KE combines high torsional stiffness and simultaneous radial flexibility to optimize hydrostatic diesel drives in the low or medium power range.
The versatile CENTAFLEX-A is widely used to connect a variety of diesel engine drives. All Centa couplings are designed to overcome misalignment and eliminate the ensuing vibration and noise caused by misalignment.
