Case launch new Tier 4 Final backhoe loaders

Company upgrades T-Series backhoe loaders with further enhancements and new livery

CASE Construction Equipment have introduced their newly upgraded T-Series backhoe loaders featuring more improvements and choice for customers, as well as the company’s new livery.

The new models meet the demanding Stage IV/Tier 4 Final emissions regulations thanks to Case’s efficient selective catalytic reduction (SCR) after-treatment system, which requires no diesel particulate filter or regeneration.

The reduction in the number of components has allowed Case to rationalize the machine’s engine layout. The SCR system, for example, has been repositioned externally for better access to the engine, electronic module and fuses. In addition to the new engine layout, the exhaust pipe has been moved to the right-hand pillar, improving visibility.

Across the T-Series loader range is the availability of a new backhoe design with in-line cylinder geometry and ‘inner extendahoe’ originally introduced on the 580ST model in 2016. As part of the T-Series upgrade, Case have now extended this to two bigger models – the 590ST and 695ST machines.

Customers can select a specially developed Case boom with overlapping cylinders and outer extendahoe, as well as the new in-line design on all three models in the T Series range. The new in-line geometry is suitable for operators seeking superior breakout force and reach. In addition, the narrower frame of the boom provides better visibility of the working area at the rear of the machine.

The Case DNA boom geometry, on the other hand, has been developed for tough working conditions, as the sliding part and components are protected against impact and material accumulation.

New Smart-fit teeth are now available from Case for the front and backhoe heavy-duty buckets. The teeth contribute to the backhoe loader’s improved performance – penetrating deeper and staying sharp longer, resulting in more productivity and lower service costs in the long term.

A new universal backhoe coupler has also been introduced for both Case DNA and in-line backhoe designs. With the new coupler, many non-original CASE buckets can be fitted on the T-Series backhoes with minimal impact on backend length and digging performance. This provides higher flexibility on site and a lower cost impact for machinery owners as they can fit different buckets that they already have on site.
