Brammer Buck & Hickman rebrand unveiled at Hillhead 2018

Brammer Buck & Hickman at Hillhead 2018

Brammer Buck & Hickman, the UK’s leading industrial supplies specialist, opted to unveil their new brand identity at this year’s Hillhead show. The bright, bold logo has been designed to further unify the Brammer Buck & Hickman brands and to create a simpler, bolder and more modern brand identity.

The announcement comes on the same day that parent company IPH-Brammer Group announced that it is changing its group name and brand identity to Rubix.

As the UK’s leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul products and services, Brammer merged with Buck & Hickman, a market leader in tools and health & safety products, back in 2011to become Brammer Buck & Hickman. The union allowed the newly formed business to provide unrivalled product knowledge, advice and technical support, backed by a depth of product range and supply capability which is second to none.

Mark Dixon, CEO at Brammer Buck & Hickman commented: 'The rebrand of our parent group, Rubix, seemed the ideal time to roll out the rebrand of Brammer Buck & Hickman. Hillhead provided the perfect platform to reach one of our major markets. We’re pleased to be able to incorporate the Rubix brand name into our new logo – the name signifies problem solving and aligns with the creative and human approach we adopt when providing solutions for our customers.'

'The new Brammer Buck & Hickman logo is not just a change of symbol, it is a symbol of the changes that have taken place at Brammer Buck & Hickman. We’re evolving at a fast pace to ensure that we’re offering customers the very best products, best lead-times and best pricing. Above all, our focus is on ensuring that we add value by offering our customers a network of technical experts who are happy and willing to share their knowledge with our customers. By simplifying our logo, we hope to reinforce the brand in the minds of our customers.'

Brammer Buck & Hickman is part of the newly named Rubix group. Previously known as IPH Brammer, the group has a turnover of more than Euro2.2bn in 2017, and over 650 locations across Europe, making the business Europe’s largest supplier of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) products and services.

Group CEO, Martin Gaarn Thomsen said: 'The launch of our new group brand marks the start of a whole new chapter for our business.  We are a new company, with an agenda to transform our industry and provide innovative value-adding services and propositions for our customers.  Our new brand encapsulates our ambition to help our customers in a smarter way and keep their businesses running smoothly.'

Rubix is Europe’s largest supplier of industrial maintenance, repair and overhaul products and services. It was created from the merger of IPH with Brammer in 2017, following the acquisition of Brammer by Advent International.   Martin Gaarn Thomsen joined as Group CEO in April 2018.

From around 650 + locations across 23 countries, 8000 employees help to identify, install and provide a leading range of industrial products and services to more than 220,000 customers.
