Bobcat open new parts distribution centre in Germany

State-of-the-art facility near Leipzig Airport to improve after-sales support in EMEA region

BOBCAT have opened a new parts distribution centre for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in Halle, Germany. Located close to Leipzig Airport, the state-of-the-art 43,000 sq m facility will ensure the speedy delivery of spare parts and other components to dealers and customers throughout the EMEA region.

In recent years Bobcat dealer and customer bases in EMEA have grown rapidly, resulting in a significant increase in their needs and expectations. Currently, Bobcat have around 180 dealers in 75 EMEA countries and the new parts centre will provide a faster and better service for the dealers and their customers.

 

With more than 150,000 different spare parts and components stocked, the facility will also supply aftermarket products to the Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in Dubai. In addition to the excellent connections provided by Leipzig Airport, the Halle centre is located near DHL’s main European delivery centre with easy access to a motorway network.

Paulo Florindo, EMEA aftermarket senior director for Doosan Bobcat, commented: ‘With the high investment in the new distribution center, we are clearly committed to EMEA as a region. The new centre will enable us to supply to our customers even faster and more flexibly with everything they need. With 130 new jobs created, we are confident we will provide the best service.’
