Bell Equipment appoint NE sales manager

Andy Wilkinson

Andy Wilkinson to look after equipment sales from the Scottish Borders to Lincolnshire

BELL Equipment UK have appointed Andy Wilkinson as sales manager for the North East, reinforcing the company’s team as its new E-series articulated dumptrucks (ADTs) are launched into the UK.

Mr Wilkinson brings with him extensive experience of the UK construction market. For the past two-and-a-half years, he was territory manager for Ritchie Bros Auctioneers, giving him an insight into the current state of plant equipment in the UK. Prior to that he was regional sales manager for JCB Attachments.

The North East territory, extending from the Scottish borders to Lincolnshire, is one of the biggest and busiest parts of the country in terms of sales of ADTs and wheel loaders.

Mr Wilkinson’s appointment coincides with the recent appointment of Nick Learoyd as Bell Equipment’s UK managing director, and the arrival of the first E-series models – the 25-tonne B25E and the 30-tonne B30E – in the UK.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr Learoyd said: ‘Having dealt with just about every brand of construction equipment during his career, Andy’s knowledge is hard to beat and he will be a valuable addition to our sales team as we demonstrate the virtues of our technology.’

Mr Wilkinson added: ‘I have long been impressed by the way in which Bell are making waves in the market. I always advise customers to look for the long-term reliability and performance of the product, and the quality of after-sales and service – and Bell have an enviable reputation for both.’
