Bell ADTs help Casey expand

Lancashire-based P Casey (Plant Hire) Ltd have taken delivery of five upgraded B30D ADTs from Bell Equipment UK. The latest model is a higher-powered and higher-performance version of the standard B30 ADT in which the 6.37-litre engine has been replaced with a larger 7.2-litre version, providing, say Bell, a 17% increase in power and 13% increase in torque.

The upgraded B30 ADTs form part of the plant hire company’s continuing expansion, as Graham Gotheridge, general manager of P Casey, explained: ‘We have operated dumptrucks on various applications over many years and, after considering several manufacturers, concluded that the Bell B30D offers the best production figures and fuel-consumption figures for both our internal operations and customers.’

P Casey also cited the excellent driver comfort and health and safety benefits of the machines. ‘The spacious, quiet and climate-controlled cab is ergonomically designed for comfort, which is further improved with an adjustable tilting and telescopic steering wheel and fully adjustable air-suspension seat,’ Mr Gotheridge continued. ‘These days, health and safety issues are paramount, and the B30D represents a huge step in reducing operator stress and whole-body vibrations.’
