One of the new features of the unit is its ability to send out an overload alarm signal to the truck’s tracking device, which relays it back to base. Any instances of overloads can then be saved in the system for subsequent download.
Easy to use and simple to install, the axle indicator is tamper-proof, as it has no external controls, while all calibration functions are fully password-protected.
Axle and gross overloads can lead to large fines for operators of HGVs, but use of the Axtec on-board axle load indicator combats these problems and ensures maximum legal loads.
