Avery upgrade calibration service

Avery Weigh-Tronix have continued to upgrade their national weighbridge calibration service with the purchase of two new 48-tonne vehicle test units in an investment totalling £1 million.

The company claims that it now has the most comprehensive calibration service in the country with a total of eight specialist test units. Four can calibrate up to 48-tonne weighbridges and the other four up to 44 tonnes. The test fleet is available throughout the UK and Northern Ireland 52 weeks of the year and helps operators meet the requirements of ISO 9001.

Avery Weigh-Tronix also have a 58-strong team of dedicated weighbridge technicians in the UK, 19 of which are accredited verification engineers who can stamp a weighbridge for trade use so a trading standards officer does not need to visit the site.

A range of service options and maintenance cover for any make of weighbridge is also available. This can include 24h cover and 8h response, planned maintenance visits, on-site fault adjustments, guaranteed response times, repair and replacement of load-cells and working parts, plus reduced rates on other parts, hire and labour.
