Are your MEWPs safe?

THIS year’s free-to-attend International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) Summit, which takes place at Whittlebury Hall, near Towcester, on Tuesday 15 April, will focus on the important question: Are your MEWPs safe?

Five experienced and influential speakers will address key issues relating to mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), including: how thorough does a thorough examination have to be?; exactly what does the law require?; is the CAP Card programme right for you?; who, exactly, will be recognized as a competent person?; the implications of the new Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007; and what do you have to do to ensure that you operate both safely and within the law?

Preceded by the IPAF Annual General Meeting (members only) and followed by IPAF’s 25th anniversary dinner, the Summit itself is open to all and will take place from 1.30pm to 5.00pm. Ample opportunity will be provided for delegates to put their own specific questions to the speakers.
