Another step up for Aggregate Industries

AGGREGATE Industries have strengthened their presence in the precast concrete staircase market with the purchase of a 75% share in Bespoke Precast Ltd for an undisclosed sum.

Based in Penistone near Sheffield, Bespoke Precast manufacture and supply precast concrete staircases and landings to a number of regional and national house builders throughout the Midlands and northern England.

The business will continue to trade as Bespoke Precast Ltd, under current managing director Gordon Beaver, and existing employees will be retained.

Aggregate Industries say the acquisition will complement their existing staircase business, Histon Concrete Products, based near Ely, Cambridgeshire, and will be managed through Concrete Developments under managing director Ian Carling.
