Aggregate Industries looking to the future

Aggregate Industries' 2018 graduates

Company continues to invest in next generation of talent with launch of new graduate scheme

AS part of their latest recruitment drive to attract the next generation of young people to the minerals and extractives sector, Aggregate Industries have recently launched a new graduate programme.

Each year the business offers a number of different initiatives designed to give talented young people an opportunity to learn new skills and practice them in a live environment, as a solid basis for career development.

And 2018 is no different, as Aggregate Industries have introduced a commercial graduate scheme to recruit the next generation of talent into the company and the wider quarrying industry.

James Roberts, organization and human resources director for Aggregate Industries, commented: ‘As a large employer we take our responsibility to invest in the next generation very seriously, which is why our established graduate programme is a driver to deliver future business leaders.

‘We also continue to strive for diversity and inclusion within the sector, which is why we are working hard to attract more females on to our schemes. Encouragingly, in recent years we have seen a rise in our female intake and hope this will continue for the long-term.’
