DGT is an established recycling business specialising in the Non-Ferrous metals recovered from Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA). A key part of our process is the running of two heavy media wash plants utilising wet density separation to recover metals from bulk loads of mixed IBA.

We are looking to recruit a machinery maintenance engineer to assist in the day-to-day maintenance of the fixed on-site wash plants and other static process lines. This position will be based at our main Dudley site.

Applicants for this position should have qualifications in electrical / mechanical fitting / fabrication with a good attitude towards health & safety and ideally have experience in the aggregate or metals industries, preferably with wash plants as well as having excellent organisational and housekeeping standards. You should have the ability to work on your own initiative to solve problems and deal with breakdowns or as part of a team and also be able to implement and follow a scheduled maintenance scheme as well as being able to react quickly and work safely in breakdown situations.

Electrical knowledge preferred but not essential.

Salary dependant on experience, ranging from £30-40k.
