We also specialise in dismantling, transporting, re-assembling, and commissioning clients’ plant when moved from one location to another. We are also installing and supporting major plant suppliers on the HS2 project.
Static Plant Fitter - UK, London & Home Counties
As a plant fitter you will be deployed on a variety of sites around the UK, including London & Home Counties, working on contract maintenance schemes we have with major suppliers within the quarrying industry and individual projects. Your role will be to offer technical and mechanical skills to achieve and maximise production on all sites that we contract manage. You will have mechanical skills with additional knowledge of pneumatics and other systems working on multi-disciplines. In some roles you will be expected to complete and commission an assortment of installations. You will also be expected to communicate with customers when required.
R&G have high Safety, Health & Environmental expectations and your role will also ensure the safety of yourself, and others on site. You will be expected to ensure that all SHE systems paperwork conforms to that required by ourselves and our customers.
Welder Fabricator – Stanstead Area
Based in North Essex you will be responsible for the manufacture of quarry-related components and parts. As a fabricator welder you will be required to work in a busy industrial environment located in our workshops near Stanstead, Essex. You will be required to undertake all aspects of fabrication and MIG welding which will mainly be from using mild steel. Welders must be able to confidently read from engineering drawings and be able to work independently.
Working hours: 07:00am - 16:00pm . Working days: Monday – Saturday morning overtime.
