Production Manager - Cornwood Quarry

Purpose of the Role:

The Production Manager would be expected to deputise for and implement the direction of the Site Manager to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the site operating within the conditions of relevant legislation, permitting and appropriate good practices.

Focusing on safety, product quality, process efficiency, optimisation and continuous improvement to the way of working.

Preferred Work Experience:

  • Process plant operation
  • Quarrying industry experience
  • Quality control and test procedures
  • Leadership experience
  • Energy management

Technical Skills:

  • Good working knowledge of the fixed processing plants.
  • Formal SHEQ Training
  • Competent with Microsoft office computer programs 

Personal Skills and Behaviours:

  • Positive approach to safe working methods and leading by example.
  • Go to person who can run the shift and provide direction.
  • Team player.
  • Pragmatic approach.
  • Proven problem solving skills.
  • Good communication skills on different levels in the organisation.
