The Opportunity:

The successful candidate will join an established team of minerals surveyors. They will assist in managing an extensive and varied minerals portfolio for landowners located throughout the UK.  They will also provide technical advice and professional services to a range of clients involved in the Minerals and Waste Management Sectors.   The post offers a challenging and varied workload and will involve travel throughout the UK.


Candidates will ideally have: 

  • A first degree in Mineral Surveying or similar
  • MRICS qualified
  • Good working knowledge of mineral extraction projects and relevant property issues  
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in the production of clear and accurate reports
  • Experience of minerals development/planning system
  • Ability to cultivate strong client relationships and develop new business
  • Strong negotiation & Project Management skills
  • Experience of producing heads of terms
  • Experience of mineral/waste valuation work
  • Experience of minerals development/planning system
