Supervising Safety in Extractives & Processing Industries - South West

Two-day course for people who need to understand how accidents are caused and how they can be prevented. Attendees will be provided with: an increased awareness of general health and safety management; the confidence to communicate effectively with others on safety issues; the knowledge and skills to supervise safety in quarries and operational environments; confidence to handle difficult behaviour and deal with conflict; create and promote worker engagement to improve safety iin the workplace; the ability to identify and correct unsafe behaviours. The course will also provide some of the underprinning health and safety knowledge for the QCF in Health, Safety and Environmental Management in the extractive and mineral processing industries.
