Mineral Planning for the Future - a system fit for purpose?

The Levelling Up White Paper means that planning reform is rising back up the political agenda once again. What could this mean for minerals planning, and what are the priorities and opportunities to make the system more effective for everyone who is involved?

A range of expert speakers will give their perspectives.

RTPI President Tim Crawshaw will open the conference. Tim's welcome will be followed by sessions on:

Strategic Planning
Delivery - Resourcing, skills & practice
Legal update by No5 Chambers
Marine aggregates, silica sand and dimension stone
Nigel Jackson, Chief Executive of the Mineral Products Association will give closing remarks.

This is a must attend annual event for anyone with minerals planning in their remit and it is delivered jointly by the RTPI and the Mineral Products Association.
