Hugh Rollinson is head of the Department of Geographical, Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Derby. He is also Professor of Earth Sciences. A geologist/ geochemist/ petrologist by profession Hugh has worked in western and southern Africa and the Middle East as well as at several Universities in the UK. As Department Head at Derby Hugh has oversight of all programmes in quarrying, asphalt technology and clay products.
