Mainly responsible for the management of all quarry related courses, is also responsible for co-ordinating the work of the other related provisions in Asphalt Technology and Clay Products.

Membership includes that of the University of Derby, Quarry & Asphalt Joint Consultative Committee and the Institute of Quarrying, Education Committee.
