Two new appointments at Euroblend

Marco Severini

Company recruits new national project manager and northern region sales manager to meet growing demand

OWING to growing demand and increasing sales and projects, Berkshire-based Euroblend Ltd have recruited two additional members of staff to help drive the Euroblend brand forward. Marco Severini has joined the Euroblend team as national project manager, and Basil Curran has been appointed as northern region sales manager.

A specialist in industrial automation software design and analysis, Mr Severini was previously with Italian firm Elettrondata where he worked as project manager on the application of industrial automation solutions to concrete batching plants, asphalt plants, water-treatment systems, energy generation and vehicle-fleet monitoring, and provided consultancy for plant layout design and industrial process analysis and control, including the co-ordination of after-sales technical service and maintenance.

 

In his new role with Euroblend Ltd, Mr Severini will assist with on-site co-ordination and help raise the customer-service profile of Euroblend within the industry.

Meanwhile, with increasing sales in the north of England and Ireland, Euroblend Ltd have appointed Basil Curran as northern region sales manager.

Mr Curran has been in the plant and machinery business for more than three decades, having previously worked with his father for many years as a dealer for Pegson crushing and screening equipment, Finlay Hydrascreens screeners and wash plant plants, and Fiori Spa concrete equipment.

He has also worked in various parts of Europe and the Middle East with Baghdad-based Al Naser Group as purchasing manager for new and used asphalt plants, concrete plants, concrete pumps, pavers and crushers.
