Timberland Pro bring new super hero to the UK
New Pro Hero work boot offers protection and durability with water and abrasion resistance
TIMBERLAND Pro have launched a brand new high-performance safety boot called Pro Hero for workers in the UK, offering the wearer comfort, protection and durability as well as slip, water and abrasion resistance.
‘We have listened to the needs of workers across the UK construction industry, who have told us exactly what they want from a safety boot and we have developed the Pro Hero as a result,’ said Stephanie Altit-Hazan, marcom manager for Timberland Pro in EMEAI.
‘It’s a high-quality product without a high price tag, offering a range of features specifically designed for diverse trades at work, the new footwear has an uncompromising performance for rugged, wet environments with protection against impact, compression and puncture injuries.’
Designed with a lightweight PU-injected outsole which ensures excellent shock absorption, the sole unit gives the wearer high slip and abrasion resistance on any surface, while the upper – available in classic Timberland Nubuck or full-grain black leather – is water and abrasion resistant as are the laces. Four rows of stitching further add to the Pro Hero’s rugged performance and durability.
The Pro Hero benefits from both ankle and tongue padding, while a removable, cushioned, antibacterial and antistatic technical insole helps keep feet dry and healthy. Physical protection against crush and compression injuries is delivered through the boot’s non-metallic toe cap, whilst the steel midsole safeguards against puncture hazards.
The new Pro Hero is available in sizes 4 to 12 and is certified to the EN ISO20345 standard for safety footwear.
