The Mineral Estate Surveyors Handbook

The Mineral Estate Surveyors Handbook

An outline of aspects of valuation and law relating to mineral working and waste management properties

LINDEN Publishing have recently released The Mineral Estate Surveyors Handbook’, which discusses legal and valuation issues relating to mineral working and waste management properties.

No textbooks have been published in this field for many years and although written primarily as an introduction for students, it is likely to be of assistance to others new to these industries. More experienced practitioners might also find it of assistance as a work of first reference.

Written by Peter Vincent, Gareth Powell and Tim Troman, the handbook is published in loose-leaf format with the pages in each of its 23 chapters separately numbered in order to allow new material to be introduced.

In particular, as substantial changes to the UK planning regime are currently in progress, it is intended that the text will be amended and replaced when appropriate.

For ease of reference, there is an extensive index together with appendices listing items of legislation and case law considered to be relevant.

In view of the cost of production and the anticipated relatively small level of sales, the price per copy is £50.00, including postage and packing. For students the price is reduced to £26.00.
