SITA UK rebrand as Suez Environnement

Suez Environnement

Waste-management firm to become the UK recycling and waste recovery division of Suez Environnement

SITA UK are to be rebranded under the Suez Environnement name and will join with other subsidiaries within the group in operating under a single name. As of now, SITA UK will become the Recycling & Waste Recovery UK division of Suez Environnement, with changes to branding on vehicles and the company website to be phased in over the next two years.

David Palmer-Jones, chief executive officer of Recycling & Waste Recovery UK at Suez Environnement (formerly SITA UK), said: ‘We are very pleased to join the other business units within the global group in uniting under a single global brand. This restructuring of our global brand will enable us to better meet our customers’ needs and speak with one voice, alongside our colleagues across the group, on the sustainability challenges of the future.’

Suez Environnement currently operate more than 40 different brands worldwide but with the single global branding this will simplify their multi-brand structure.

Until now, the group’s activities had been organized under two key areas of recycling and waste but the company will now take a resource-focused approach to the sustainable management of its activities.
