QMS demonstrate modular crushing system at Hillhead

QMS - Quarry Manufacturing & Supplies Ltd are pleased to announce that they will be demonstrating their Modular Crushing System (MCS) during the Hillhead 2014 exhibition.

The system consists of pre-designed, ready-to-work, crusher, screen, conveyor and feed hopper modules which can be combined to create a plant suitable for a wide variety of applications. All modules are designed to fit and work together interchangeably. The modular design means plants can be configured to process a wide range of materials with capacity up to 750 tonnes/h. All modules can be transported on standard trailers or shipped in containers. Erected with basic tools in minimal time, the plant includes all walkways, stairs, handrails and guards. The Modular Crushing System (MCS) can be considered truly mobile. Plug and play PLC control allows a fully integrated plant to be created in hours; all QMS modular crushers and modular screens are supplied pre-wired leaving minimal site work.

The modern B-series cone crusher used in the plant creates excellent product shape and can be configured to maximize the production of premium single-sized aggregates.

The plant on show at the exhibition consists of a B4 cone crusher, FHB-90 feed hopper with 15m feed and discharge conveyors. QMS will also showcase the SVI-B03 three-deck inclined vertical screen, an example of their new SVI inclined screening range.

The heavy-duty design is available in a range of both standard and custom sizes to suit every requirement. They have the option of two- or four-deck configurations in sizes up to 7m x 2.4m, capable of handling a range of materials, with feed sizes up to 100mm and output potentials of 750 tonnes/h.

Alongside this will be their B3 cone crusher, an example of their B-Series cone crushers which are available in a range of sizes, which are suitable for both secondary and tertiary applications.

All QMS crushers and screens incorporate the latest in design and manufacturing techniques and each component is 100% manufactured by QMS in the UK, in state of the art facilities.

The exhibition provides an excellent platform for QMS to display their new processing equipment range.

QMS will also exhibit an extensive range of aftermarket crusher wear and spare parts for leading manufacturers including Sandvik, Metso and Powerscreen.
