One-day EIG Technical Meeting
Technical meeting on quarry and surface mine geotechnics at the Stratford Manor Hotel in June
FOLLOWING previous successful one-day Technical Meetings on rockfall, ground and surface water, and exploration in 2013, 2015 and 2017 respectively, the 2019 meeting on quarry and surface mine geotechnics will take place at the Stratford Manor Hotel, in Warwickshire, on 19 June.
Covering legislation and state-of-the-art practice and developments, the meeting will consider in detail the regulations, their adequacy and implementation in practice. Speakers will include Cath Pickett (HSE), Prof. John Coggan (CSM), Dr Alan Cobb (GWP Consultants), Thomas Clifford (WS Atkins) and others from industry.
Expected to be of interest to geoscientists in the extractive sector and other interested professionals, attendance at the event costs £95.00 per person. CPD certificates will be provided.
