Company expanding its presence in Stafford due to increasing construction machinery sales volumes

INTERNATIONAL construction machinery company Wacker Neuson are expanding their UK operations in Stafford. UK managing director Richard Harrison and chief financial officer Günther C. Binder have signed a deal with Beacon Business Park for a brand new UK sales headquarters, which will open in summer 2016.

The company, which has its group headquarters in Munich, has been a tenant on the business park for 18 months and already employs 45 people in Stafford, with further expansion planned.

 

Recognizing the benefits of Stafford as a base for their UK operations, Wacker Neuson have purchased additional plots covering a further 3.8 acres, with a contract to design and build a brand new 45,000 square foot headquarters facility that will house offices, warehousing, a parts store, workshop and training facilities.

Richard Harrison said: ‘Expanding at Beacon Business Park in Stafford is a natural move. This has proved to be an ideal location for us with great staff and excellent access to all the key distribution routes. The on-site management team at the business park really look after us and have worked hard with their design team to help us bring this project to fruition.’
