New promotions at Hanson Cement

John Doolan, Mark Hickingbottom and Neil Jackson

John Doolan and Neil Jackson promoted to senior commercial roles

HANSON Cement’s bulk products division has made two further senior appointments as part of the company’s commitment to customer service. John Doolan (left) has been promoted to key account manager, while Neil Jackson (right) becomes field sales manager.

Mr Doolan and Mr Jackson will work to strengthen new and existing customer relationships and both will report to Mark Hickingbottom, recently appointed national commercial director – bulk cement.

Mr Doolan, who has worked for Hanson Cement for a number of years in different commercial roles, will work closely with Hanson’s key account customers to create and deliver strategic plans. He will also develop internal and external relations to carry out the company’s aim of delivering outstanding customer service.

Mr Jackson, previously Hanson’s area sales manager for the Midlands, will now focus on sales strategy across the bulk division. He will manage a team of five distinct sales managers and ensure that customers’ needs are placed at the centre of the business.

Mr Hickingbottom said: ‘John and Neil’s experience and knowledge of the company will enable them to continue building on our customer relationships, putting customer service at the core of their work.’
