Riverside Machinery launch Neuenhauser NH6020 E trommel and appoint new sales manager
RIVERSIDE Machinery Ltd, sole UK dealers for Neuenhauser Environmental, have announced the launch of the Neuenhauser NH6020 E mobile drum screen.
Neuenhauser, who are normally associated with star screens, have responded to growing demand for a trommel unit from their dealer network and existing star screen customers, who felt that a drum screen was needed for certain applications.
For example producing a –10mm compost for PAS 100, a trommel screen is said to have certain advantages over a star screen, particularly in its ability to produce a specific size of product.
Available from the middle of this month (July 2011), benefits of the new Neuenhauser NH6020 E are said to include: compatibility with drum screens from other manufacturers (eg Doppstadt); diesel-electric drive to keep running costs to a minimum, a swing-out engine unit and large access doors for ease of maintenance, and the option of mains-powered operation.
Meanwhile, Riverside Machinery Ltd have also announced the appointment of Ray Smart as their sales manager for the north of the UK. Mr Smart has many years experience in the crushing and screening industry will be responsible for all sales, hire and technical support north of Leicestershire through to the north of Scotland.
