New feature for segregator bucket

The ever-increasing cost of disposal of C&D waste is forcing contractors to consider the various options open to them for processing materials into useable products.

Small sites have tended to be overlooked due to the cost and difficulty of bringing screening plants on to site. However, the Government is proposing to make Site Waste Management Plans a statutory requirement on all construction projects valued at around £200,000 upwards and Anross believe their range of Auto-Segregator buckets offers a solution to this problem.

Designed for use on 5–30-tonne excavators, the buckets allow contractors to screen the majority of  materials to a standard suitable for reuse. This significantly reduces the amount of material to be disposed of away from site, with any resultant cost benefits feeding ‘straight through to the bottom line’.

Anross have recently introduced a new feature on all their models. A removeable rib section allows users to have optional screening sizes. The wider setting is particularly suitable for bio-remediation applications where the main issue is to agitate and aerate the materials being processed. The fine screening capabilities of the buckets are still available by re-fitting the rib section.
