New Far East appointment at SPP Pumps

Pumps specialist Steve Graham appointed as new head of the company’s Asia Pacific division

SPP Pumps have announced further investment in the Far East with the appointment of Steve Graham as new head of the company’s Asia Pacific division. Mr Graham, who has worked for SPP Pumps on and off since 1989, already heads up international business development for the company’s water and desalination business and will now also hold responsibility for the Asia Pacific region.

‘I’ve been with SPP for more than 25 years, having moved around different areas of the business,’ said Mr Graham. ‘It’s been an easy decision to stay here for so long; SPP is a business committed to providing quality solutions and expertise to customers. The company also places great emphasis on its people – I’ve had a lot of freedom to open new doors and think outside the box, and that is a very rewarding part of my job.’

Mr Graham will work with a team that spans the globe from the UK to Dubai and Singapore, covering key growth areas for the business. He continued: ‘I’ve had some involvement in Asia Pacific for a while now and, having formed existing relationships with customers and agents in the region, this seemed like the perfect step for me.’

Bob Tichband, sales director of SPP Pumps, commented: ‘Steve has decades of experience working at SPP and knows the company and its approach to work inside out. I have no doubt he’ll do a fantastic job in growing our business in the Far East.’
