New boss for Lafarge Asphalt & Contracting
LAFARGE Aggregates & Concrete UK have a new man at the helm of their Asphalt & Contracting division following the return of Shaun Davidson to the UK after almost two years as Lafarge Aggregates & Concrete’s vice-president/general manager for concrete in Central Europe.
Mr Davidson, who has previously held the position of director of Lafarge’s UK Asphalt business, succeeds Chris Plant as managing director of Asphalt & Contracting. Mr Plant, meanwhile, is to become divisional head of health & safety (Aggregates & Concrete).
Describing his new role as exciting and challenging, Mr Davidson said: ‘Asphalt & Contracting is integral to the long-term, continued success of Lafarge Aggregates & Concrete UK.
‘I intend to build on both our recent successes in supplying and laying major infrastructure and commercial projects and our market-leading position in innovative solutions for our customers.’
