New appointment at Castell Safety International

Paul Marks becomes new product development director as part of strategic move to expand and strengthen company

CASTELL Safety International Ltd have announced the appointment of Paul Marks as their new product development (NPD) director. The UK-based company has chosen to expand and strengthen the NPD team following a record financial year to April 2011.

Commenting on his new position, Mr Marks said: ‘This is a great opportunity to move Castell towards the next stage in their development. The company invented the trapped-key interlock and has a long and established history of innovation in the industry.’

Mr Marks will be responsible for building on the existing engineering capabilities within Castell to develop new products and to ensure a disciplined approach to engineering is maintained throughout their worldwide operations.

He has enjoyed considerable success in his career, both as a developer of innovative engineering products and also a business leader.
